Aside from releasing on Berghain’s in-house label Ostgut Ton, Kobosil also runs his own R – Label Group imprint, which he uses as a platform to promote releases by up-and-coming Berlin producers at the forefront of a bleak and riotous approach to dance music. It’s this combination of the dark and ecstatic that is at the foundation of Kobosil’s powerful approach to techno.
